Quality Control
How your swimwear is checked — from sample development to bulk production, and the inspection options available to you.
How we control quality
Quality checks run through the whole order, not just at the end. During bulk production we carry out in-process checks at key stages; once production is complete and before packing, we run a final inspection. Every check is recorded, so we can report with photos whenever you need them.
Sample stage
We keep you updated throughout sample development by email or WhatsApp. Before any sample is shipped, we confirm it with you first — through photos and video — so there are no surprises at your end.
When checking a sample, look beyond size and stitching: fabric color, print placement, trims and hardware all matter. For styles heading into bulk, we recommend two samples — one base size and one largest size — to verify the grading. Full details on fees, timing and revisions are on our sampling page, and our flat-lay measurement points are explained in the size guide.
Bulk production
Bulk is produced to the approved sample. We recommend a pre-production check in the base size and the largest size before cutting, so the grading is confirmed on the actual production run.
- In-process checks — measurements, stitching, fabric and trims are checked as the order moves through production.
- Final inspection — a full check after production and before packing, so issues are caught while they can still be fixed.
Inspection options
You are welcome to check the order yourself, or bring in a third party:
- Your own QC — visit the factory during production or before packing.
- Third-party inspection — we can help you arrange a recognised inspection agency.
- Video inspection — we can walk you through the order live by video; arrange a time with us by email or WhatsApp.
Plan any inspection before packing and give us advance notice. External checks add a little time to the schedule — we will confirm this when arranging it.
What we check
- Size — flat-lay measurements compared with the approved sample and your spec, within tolerance (see our size guide).
- Workmanship — stitching, seams, elastic tension and recovery, straps and finishing.
- Fabric — color consistency, print placement and alignment, defects and stains.
- Trims — labels, hangtags, hardware, packaging and barcodes.
- Optional lab tests — color fastness to chlorine, sunlight and sweat, shrinkage and pilling, on request. Tests requested by the customer are paid by the customer.
If defects are found
Defects found during inspection are reworked and re-checked before packing. We confirm the result with you — including photos — before shipment.
Common questions
Can I arrange third-party inspection?
Yes — we can help you arrange a recognised inspection agency, or you can send your own QC team. Please book in advance and before packing.
Do you check samples before shipping them?
Yes — measurements, color, trims and workmanship are checked against your spec, then confirmed with you via photos or video before shipping. See our sampling page for the full process.
When should inspection happen?
In-process checks run during production and the final inspection happens after production, before packing. External and video inspections should be booked in advance of packing.
What happens if defects are found?
We rework and re-inspect, then confirm the result with you — with photos — before shipment.
